John Stephens

John is a Managing Director in Vestar’s Diversified Industries group. Most recently a principal of the firm, John joined Vestar in 2006 and has also served in Vestar’s Consumer group. He is a director of Roland Foods and St John Knits. Previously he was a member of the Leveraged Finance Group at Wachovia Securities. Before that, John worked at L.E.K. Consulting.

He holds a BA, magna cum laude, from Middlebury College, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

Originally from Lakeland, Florida, John now lives in Denver, Colorado.
