Jonathan Edson

Jonathan Edson is the Senior Vice President Business Development at FanDuel.

Jonathan Edson has worked in media and telecommunications for over eighteen years and was a senior business development executive at America Online and Time Warner for seven years, where he focused on the media and entertainment industry.

During that time, Jonathan oversaw over $1 billion in transactions including deals with the NFL, MTV Networks, and the New York Times. He also served as a core member of the team that negotiated the merger between AOL and Time Warner.

Jonathan left AOL in 2002 to pursue a PhD in Celtic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. Based on his experiences as a student, he founded and led Carmun.com a social site that helps students with their work, where he built the business to 1MM users a semester.

Before AOL, Jonathan worked for the Communications and Computing practice at Mercer Management Consulting where his clients included AT&T and Cellular One.

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with honors in economics from Williams College.
