Jose Lopez

Mr. Jose Lopez serves as an Executive Vice President of Operations - Globe at Nestlé S.A. Mr. Lopez is responsible for Procurement, Production, Supply Chain, Health & Safety, Environment, Quality Management and Engineering. He serves as a Member of Management Board at GS1. and Nestlé S.A.

He serves as a Member of Executive Board of Nestlé SA. He served as Head of Japan at Nestle SA until February 2007 and served as its Executive Officer since February 2007. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Japan Group since 2003. He served as Managing Director of Nestlé Malaysia Bhd and Head of Region Malaysia/Singapore since 1999. He served as an Executive Director of Operations in Oceania in charge of Technical Division, Supply Chain Operations and Export since 1997 and Technical Director of Nestlé Australia since 1995.

Mr. Lopez served various executive positions at Nestlé in Vevey from 1979 to 1995 including as Factory Manager of Pet Food Division, France, Engineering Manager (Coffee, Milk, Confectionery and Culinary), Japan; Factory Engineer of Coffee Division, USA; Project Manager of Coffee Division, Spain and joined Nestlé in Vevey, Switzerland, as a Project Engineer since 1979. He serves as a Member of Executive Board Global Commerce Initiative (BE) aand Vice-Chairman of the Board of GS1. Mr. Lopez studied an Advanced Management Programme at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland from 1992 to 1998.

He received Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Geneva, Switzerland in 1974.
