Joseph Engelhart

Joseph Engelhart joined Allianz X in January 2018 as the company’s Chief Investment Officer. He is in charge of managing the organization’s investment portfolios as well as co-leading the Portfolio Team. Prior to his role, he was Sr. Vice President for Corporate Finance and Treasury for the Allianz Group. Joseph has worked for the Allianz Group for 22 years and held board seats of several Allianz entities in the US, Asia and Austria. He additionally served as a member of several Investment Committees in Asia, the US, Ireland and Europe and was overseeing the €35 billion Investment Portfolio of Allianz SE Holding (Pension, Reinsurance, Cashpool, Liquidity Reserve). Joseph serves as a Member in several Boards of our portfolio companies.
