He currently works at Xanadu, a full-stack photonic quantum computing and advanced artificial intelligence company based in Toronto. As part of these efforts, he has been involved in the design and release of two major open-source quantum software packages: Strawberry Fields, a library for designing, simulating, and optimizing continuous variable (CV) quantum optical circuits, and PennyLane, a hardware-agnostic framework for quantum machine learning, automatic differentiation, and optimization of hybrid quantum-classical computations.
