Julian led numerous projects on the financial engineering team at Virtu Financial, and prior to that, financial markets technology firm ITG. As a quant developer his expertise lies in trading cost models, fair value, market data, and market microstructure. He developed ETL pipelines, APIs for real-time analytics, and led efforts to modernize infrastructure. His experience spans across asset classes including equities, FX, futures, fixed income and has been applied to markets globally. Julian worked regularly with the client side improving existing products and bringing new ideas from a research setting to production.
