Earlier, he was Director of Business Development and Technical Services at EnjoyWeb.

He also managed field application engineering at Captaris, a leading integrated electronic document delivery software and services firm. He was Manager of IT Management Consulting at Ernst & Young. Besides, he also served in health care and global transportation industries. Kasey earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
