Kunal Dasgupta

Kunal’s focus since joining LDC in 2010 has been on supporting ambitious management teams to own and grow their businesses. He has been involved with the MBOs of the UK2 Group, the ComplEAT Food Group and Fever-Tree; the take-privates of WorkPlace Systems and Boom Pictures; and two rounds of growth equity investment into OnApp. Currently, Kunal serves as a board director for WorkPlace Systems and Boom Pictures and as a board observer for UK2 and OnApp.

Kunal was previously with Apax Partners in London where his deal experience encompassed growth equity and leveraged buy-out transactions in the technology and telecoms sector globally. He was also an equity research analyst for J.P. Morgan and Jefferies, covering the European software and IT services sector, and a corporate finance analyst with J.P. Morgan.

Kunal has a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Corpus Christi College, Oxford and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
