Kyeong Cheol Koo

Mr. Kyeong-Cheol Koo joined STIC in 1999 and currently serves as a Managing Partner at STIC. Mr. Koo leads STIC’s M&A Division, which focuses on small-to-medium M&A transactions. In 2010, his team raised US$475 million for the M&A Division’s second fund, whose limited partners include a number of the most prestigious institutional investors in Korea. Mr. Koo is a member of STIC’s Investment Committee and the head fund manager for the M&A Division’s first fund. Prior to joining STIC, Mr. Koo gained extensive experience in finance, financial planning and marketing at Hanjin Group, a major transportation and distribution company in Korea. He also worked as an Auditor and Consultant for Samil PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Korea.
