Larry Blankenship is a serial entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience bringing dozens of new medical products into the healthcare community. Such products include heart valves, cardiac catheters, electrophysiology equipment, surgical instruments, patient monitors, drug delivery systems, urology products, angioscopes, ureteroscopes, laparoscopic instruments, and arthroscopic surgical tools. Mr. Blankenship is Director at Evergreen Research (www.evergreenresearch.com), a full-service product design, development and manufacturing company in Golden, Colorado for all phases of the medical device life cycle from conception through regulatory approval and distribution. Mr. Blankenship has served as an executive for Battelle, Pfizer and Eli Lilly as well as four startup medical device companies. He holds over a dozen US and foreign patents and serves on several boards of directors and advisory panels. Mr. Blankenship is a Director of the Colorado Bioscience Association (CBSA, www.cobioscience.com), a Mentor for the Boomtown Accelerator (www.boomtownaccelerator.com) and works with many organizations to bring new ideas into reality in Colorado including the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (www.advancecolorado.com) and the University of Colorado TTO (Technology Transfer Offices).
