Lauren joined QED Investors as Partner in 2019.Lauren is a thought leader and venture investor in the fintech startup community in the Bay Area. As part of Capital One Growth Ventures (COGV), she is redefining how entrepreneurs engage with teams through early capital investments and close ties to the lines of business. She also leads Capital One’s anchor partnership with Plug and Play, one of the largest incubators in Silicon Valley. Through these efforts, Lauren and the COGV team are building a portfolio of companies that will help Capital One offer customers cutting edge digital products and services.

With eight years in operating roles at Capital One, Lauren brings a deep business and customer understanding to her investment decisions. She also led marketing and analytics at a direct lending start-up in the Bay Area, which introduced her to the fintech eco-system. Lauren is currently focused on payments and commerce related investments, among other opportunities.
