Maruf Ahmed

Maruf Ahmed is the President of DISYS, and serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. He was a co-founder of SIS, Inc, a consulting firm that merged with DISYS in 1999.

Mr. Ahmed currently oversees DISYS’ Information Technology, Human Resources, and Financial operations to insure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. He is responsible for managing DISYS’ operational procedures, policies, standards, and providing the IT infrastructure and services to keep pace with DISYS’ tremendous growth.

In 2011, Mr. Ahmed was honored in the CIO/CTO category for the first-annual SmartCXO Awards. Mr. Ahmed has promoted the company through written articles and is a member of the planning and policy-making committees. He works closely with the CEO to advance the company’s mission and objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.

Mr. Ahmed is an alumni of George Mason University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with Honors. He has over 21 years of Information Technology industry experience and his application of resources, experience and skills have provided solutions that expanded the industry focus, project delivery, and operational efficiencies at DISYS.
