Mathias is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the holding company of 8 Securities. Prior to launching the company,Mathias was the Managing Director of ETRADE's International business which spanned fourteen geographies across Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Mathias was responsible for leading ETRADE International to profitability and establishing it as the fastest growing business within the company. Mathias was directly responsible for launching ETRADE as one of the first online brokerages in Hong Kong ten years ago. Prior to joining ETRADE, Mathias held leadership roles for TIR Securities and Bank Paribas Capital Markets.
