Max von Arnim

Max joined Fjord in 2010 bringing over 14 years of financial markets experience across various industrial sectors. Max participated in the development of the energy industry in Europe, initially as a corporate finance and derivatives banker and later as a principal investor. Prior to Fjord, Max was a principal at EQMC Europe Development Capital in London, a €250m special situations fund. Max executed and managed minority stake equity investments in European medium-sized industrial companies, which included board representation, initiation of corporate actions and other catalysts to create value. With the energy sector a key focus of the fund, Max also developed a global financial strategy for a large-scale energy project of an investee company.

Max started his career with German M&A firm Doertenbach & Co. and later worked in equity derivatives with Deutsche Bank and then Unicredit, where he was responsible for structured equity transactions with corporates and private equity firms. Max holds a BSc in Finance from London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
