Melissa Mounce

Melissa Mounce is the Human Capital Leader for Baird Capital. In this new role, Melissa will work with all the companies across its portfolio to build talent strategies, teams and networks to drive growth and value. Before joining Baird, Melissa was the Global Divisional Talent Acquisition Leader for Abbott, overseeing the recruitment function for all 4 global divisions, the executive search/sourcing function and recruiting operations.

Prior to Abbott, she served as the Global Recruiting Operations Leader in Aon Hewitt's Recruitment Process Outsourcing business, and also worked as the Talent Acquisition Leader at PNC Bank. Melissa began her career as a global business strategist at Motorola and management consultant with Ernst & Young.

She is a frequent public speaker and panelist on human capital management and talent management trends. Her thought leadership has appeared in white papers, media interviews and periodicals such as the Wall Street Journal. Melissa holds a BA in International Business from Illinois State University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Foglia YMCA and the Society of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting (STAR) Chicago.
