Michael Granoff

Dr. Michael D. Granoff, JD serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Pomona Capital and Pomona Capital Secondary Co-Investment Fund. Dr. Granoff is the founder of Pomona Capital. Dr. Granoff serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Pomona Partnership Holdings III, IV, V, and VII L.P. He has 22 years of private equity experience. Dr. Granoff was the President of partnerships organized to purchase secondary interests in venture capital and buyout funds and financial services while serving as the President at Golodetz Ventures and a Vice President at TEI Industries. He serves as Chairman of Albanian-American Enterprise Fund. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the American Bank of Albania. He served as the Chairman of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania Sh.a. He serves as a Director of Grameen America LLC. Prior to his business career, Dr. Granoff was on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations. He was a Member of the Presidential Transition Team for the Department of the Treasury in 1992. Dr. Granoff is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he is on the Finance Committee. Dr. Granoff has been a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School and the Wharton School of Business. He is a recipient of The Order of Mother Teresa Medal from the Government of Albania. Dr. Granoff received a J.D. from Georgetown University. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
