Michiel van Deursen

Michiel van Deursen is a former tech entrepreneur. His first endeavour was creating the largest classifieds internet platform in Belgium. He then went on to found several other successful companies, including an Amsterdam based internet agency and a tech incubator.

After these companies were successfully acquired, he turned his focus onto his own fitness, and trained for an Ironman triathlon whilst travelling the world. This enhanced his passion for plant based, healthy living, and the impact this has on the planet. Since this experience, Michiel has been following this passion and has become an experienced vegan investor.

As an early investor of The Vegetarian Butcher Michiel experienced the massive growth of the plant based food space from up close. Michiel is currently investing in solely plant-based companies who focus on materials, health and food.
