Patrick has over 20 years experience in the smart card industry, particularly in the telecoms space.
Before joining Cubic Telecom, Patrick founded and was the CEO of Bantry Technologies, a developer of smart card operating systems, applications, terminal applications and network services for the GSM market, their largest customer groups being the telecoms, banking and e-commerce sectors.
In 2007, Bantry Technologies merged with Trusted Logic making the company the uncontested leader in the smart card operating system and applications market.
Patrick served as Executive Vice President, in charge of all marketing and sales activities, selling over 100 million modules before acquisition by Gemalto in 2009.
