Paul Zito

Zito is a graduate of the University of Texas. He began his career at KPMG and was a partner at that firm from 1986 to 1993.

He left to join NetWorth, Inc. as the chief financial officer. Upon the sale of NetWorth, Inc. to Compaq Computer, Zito founded NetSpeed, Inc. and was the company’s chief operating officer until its sale to Cisco Systems, Inc.

Since then, he has co-founded and served on the boards of directors and audit committees of several businesses, including Netpliance, Inc., TippingPoint, Inc., and BreakingPoint Systems, Inc.

Zito is president of ZStart, Inc., which invests in startup and early-stage companies. He is also a partner in Genesis Inventions, Inc., which is involved in the formation of high-tech companies.
