Peter Leiss

Peter is currently the Acting General Supervisor of City of Toronto Parks in wards two and four. He has served as Supervisor to many wards across the City of Toronto since 1981.

Peter held previous roles as President and Executive Vice-President of CUPE. He served as Chair and, later, Co-Chair of the CUPE National Environment Committee for more than three years.

Peter was appointed to the OMERS Board in 1996 and served as Chair and Vice-Chair to many committees including the Investment, Autonomy and Management Committees. He acted as Chair to the OMERS Board in 2000.

Currently, Peter is part of the Toronto Municipal Employee Credit Union Board, Audit and Finance Committees. Peter has been a member of the LifeLabs' Board of Directors since 2008.
