Pradeep C Bandivadekar

Pradeep Bandivadekar is the Chief Operating Officer for the Corporate Finance Division at Tata Capital. He has been responsible for the setting up of the Commercial Finance and the Infrastructure lending businesses and has been directing them to meet their financial, operational and revenue goals..

He is responsible for the overall business, growth plans and implementation, resources, processes, controls, strategy building, compliances and driving best practices and cost-efficient end-to-end solutions.

Pradeep joined the Tata Group in 2000 as the Treasurer for Tata Motors Limited and was focused on resource management, currency management and asset management. Five years later, he was made the CEO, Tata Motor Finance and was responsible for all management and operations of Tata Motors Finance (CV, PC and CEQ business).

He started his career in 1983 as a Senior Development Officer at Sicom Limited. Soon after, he had a 13 year long association with Siemens where he took up many responsibilities, chiefly Head- Strategic planning and Chief Manager-Corporate Treasury. During this tenor he handled all growth plans, new projects and collaborations for Siemens Limited.

He is an Electrical Engineer and MBA from Mumbai University. Over the years, he has also completed executive education and training workshops such as Strategic Planning MDI at Switzerland, Value through Financial Management at Wharton School of Business Management and Tata Group Strategic Management Workshop, TMTC. He has conducted several training programmes and participated in training seminars at ICAI, Euromoney, etc.
