Rafael Guimarães

Rafael Guimarães is the president of Hughes in Brazil. He joined HUGHES in 1998 and held positions as Sales Manager, Marketing Director and Vice President. During his tenure at Hughes Brazil, he witnessed the successful transformation of the company from a hardware supplier into one of the most respected satellite service providers in the country. From 2016 he has been directly involved in the launch of the HughesNet consumer business in Brazil. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), an MBA from INSEAD in France, and a Specialization in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV).
