While serving as President of Clear Channel, Mays was responsible for a team of 40,000+ workers, the company’s international operations and strategy, and business development. His work ensured that Clear Channel became the best performing stock on the NYSE for the 1990s; he led the company’s growth to include over one thousand radio stations, the largest outdoor advertising outfits globally, and the biggest concert company.
