Professor Dahiya is EPSRC Research Fellow and the leader of Bendable Electronics and Sensing Technologies (BEST) group. He is the director of Electronics Systems Design Centre (ESDC). In past, he worked at Univ. of Delhi (India), Italian Institute of Technology Genoa (Italy), Fondazione Bruno Kessler Trento (Italy), and has held visiting positions at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and University of Cambridge (UK).
He is Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Sensors Council and a Senior member of IEEE. Currently, he is serving on the Editorial Boards of Scientific Reports (Nature Group), IEEE Transactions on Robotics and IEEE Sensors Journal. He is editor of 'Flexible and Large-Area Electronics' series by Cambridge University Press. He has been guest editor for 4 Special Journal Issues. He is a member-at-large of the IEEE Sensors Council AdCom (Administrative Committee). He is the founding chair of the UKRI section chapter of IEEE Sensors Council. He is the Technical Program Committee Chair of IEEE Sensors 2017.
