Rene Seeber

Rene Seeber is the CTO & Co - Founder of Dedrone, Inc.

Rene is a successful entrepreneur and engineering leader who previously founded and sold three successful technology companies, JouleX, Cobion and ONLY Solutions. Cobion was a content security provider that crawled and indexed all available Web content (images ad text) using its own data center and infrastructure of thousands of computers.

Internet Security Systems (ISS) purchased Cobion in 2004 and Seeber became Chief Scientist for ISS content security products. Seeber’s first venture was ONLY Solutions, a leading Image Search Engine, which he sold in 2000.

Seeber oversees the design and architecture of the JouleX Energy Manager, as well as the Joulex engineering team. JouleX was sold in 2013 to Cisco.

He holds a master’s in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Kassel.
