Rich Salter

Rich has been a familiar figure within the aviation electronics industry for decades. After several years of increasingly responsible engineering management roles in developing flight deck avionics, he co-founded Airshow Inc, where he served as vice-president of engineering. At Airshow, Rich led the development of the highly successful map displays for both business and commercial air transport aircraft. After fifteen years at Airshow, he left to become a consultant and advisor to many of the world's major airlines and served on the board of the American Passenger Experience organization (formerly known as WAEA), ultimately receiving its Lifetime Achievement Award.
