Rick DeVos

Rick DeVos is an entrepreneur. With a past in successful (and unsuccessful) startups, investment, and a fascination with platforms that people can use their creativity to create value, he founded Start Garden. Rick’s projects include Spout.com, The Common, Momentum, ArtPrize, and 5×5 Night. Rick graduated from Calvin College in 2004 with a degree in Communication and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Grand Rapids Art Museum and Urban Institute for Contemporary Art. You can find Rick flying a helicopter (no lie), singing karaoke with friends, or capturing photos on his travels. Rick resides in Ada with his wife, Melissa, their 2 daughters, and their dog.
