Rob Edwards

Rob is a Partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee. He is primarily responsible for the group’s investment activity in the basic industries and financial services sectors. Rob serves on the board of directors for Aurora Parts & Accessories and J.A.M. Distributing Company and is a board observer at Aeolus L.P. In addition, he manages the group’s investments in Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford, Alterra Capital Holdings, Solo Cup Company, Wilton Re Holdings, PartnerRe, and Ceridian Corporation.

Prior to joining BAML Capital Partners’ predecessor fund, Banc of America Capital Investors, in 1997, Rob was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., Inc., a vice president at Allied Capital, and an investment banker at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co.

Rob holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Highest Distinction and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
