Robert Wadsworth

Rob Wadsworth joined the Firm in 1986 and is a managing director who focuses on direct investments globally. He manages many of the Firm’s investment activities in the industrial, services, and information technology sectors and serves on the Firm’s Executive Management Committee overseeing HarbourVest’s day-to-day operating activities and strategic direction.

Rob also continues to work with a number of the Firm’s portfolio companies in a director capacity. He is currently a director of Camstar Systems, Earth Networks, Kinaxis, and several other privately-held companies. Rob has been responsible for more than 200 of HarbourVest’s direct investments and has served as a director on approximately 50 of those companies’ boards of directors.

Rob’s prior experience includes management consulting with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he specialized in the areas of operations strategy and manufacturing productivity.
