Roger Massy-Greene is the Chair of Ausgrid, the electricity distribution company that serves eastern Sydney and the Hunter Valley. He is also the Chair of Endeavour Energy, which distributes electricity in western Sydney and the Illawarra region. From 2012 to 2016 he was the Chair of Essential Energy, which distributes electricity in rural and regional NSW, from 2012 to 2016.
He is also currently a director of OneVentures Pty Ltd, a technology venture capital firm, and is the principal shareholder and Chair of Eureka Capital Partners, a private investment concern. He previously co-founded the ASX 200 company Excel Coal Limited and its predecessor Resource Finance Corporation Ltd, and served as Chair of Excel Coal until its acquisition by Peabody Energy in 2006.
Roger Massy-Greene serves as Chair of the Salvation Army’s Sydney Advisory Committee and of Eureka Benevolent Foundation, a family foundation focused on overcoming socio-economic disadvantage. He is the President of Cranbrook School and a director of The Hunger Project in the USA and Australia.
