Rudolf Lanz

Dr. Rudolf Lanz was the Co-Founder, Partner, and Chairman of The Corporate Finance Group from 2000 -2009. Dr. Lanz has held various positions within Ernst & Young from 1980 to 2000. He served as the Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance division of Switzerland from 1987 to July 2000. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ernst & Young, Switzerland from 1995 to 1999. He served in the Assurance and Advisory department of Allgemeine Treuhand Ltd., Basle from 1976 - 1977.

Dr. Lanz has extensive experience with company sales and purchases as well as special experience in project lead, negotiation lead, corporate analysis, valuation, initial public offerings, and private equity financing. He is a Member of the Board of various medium-sized companies. He is the Chairman of Board of Directors of Dr. Rudolf Lanz AG Since 2009, and Member of Board of Directors of Pearls Fashion Holding AG Since 2009.

He was the Vice-Chairman of the Board at Invision AG. From 2003 to 2010, Dr. Lanz was a Member of the Board of Directors of Invision Beteiligungen AG.

Dr. Lanz holds a Ph.D. degree in Law from the University of Berne and an M.B.A. degree and Master's degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
