Samuel Lin

Samuel is one of the co-founders of Rockpool Capital. As the Managing Director of Rockpool Capital, Samuel covers UHNWs and family office clients with their public and private investments. He is also involved in client management and ongoing asset allocation and portfolio construction.

Prior to founding Rockpool Capital, Samuel served as the CIO for China Shipbuilding Capital Limited (CSCL), an offshore asset management company of the state-owned enterprise, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. At CSCL, he developed and executed investment strategies with external investment managers. Prior to CSCL, Samuel was at the Bank of Singapore, Citibank, and HSBC Private Bank, where he managed a team of bankers working to provide investment solutions to institutional clients and high net-worth individuals. Samuel was also practicing lawyer at Junhe Law Offices, Shanghai.

Samuel graduated from Fudan University with a master’s degree in Law.
