Sebastien Breteau is an entrepreneur, investor, avocado farmer & philanthropist. He is the founder and CEO of QIMA, a global quality and compliance solutions provider for the consumer goods, food, and life sciences industries. Founded in 2005, QIMA partners with 30,000 brands, retailers, manufacturers and food growers globally, helping them make products consumers can trust with inspections, ESG audits, testing, and certification services. The company has become a leading player, employing over 5,000 people worldwide and operating in over 100 countries (www.qima.com). In 2013, Sebastien founded the Breteau Foundation, a NPO which aims at giving underprivileged children access to digital education. 180,000 children are now enrolled in its program (www.breteaufoundation.org). In 2019, Sebastien founded RayoVerde, and has built one of the biggest avocado farms in Europe (Andalucia, Spain), using the latest organic farming techniques and water needs optimization. Sebastien Breteau is also an active private investor in Europe, China & the US and has invested directly in over 70 start-ups globally.
