Stephano was president of [x+1] (acquired by RocketFuel, NASDAQ: FUEL), co-founder of Blackboard (NASDAQ: BBBB), and directed strategy and business development at AOL.

Stephano also advises several venture capital and private equity funds as an operating partner, while managing Springhouse Capital, his own private angel fund that has made investments in almost 2 dozen early stage companies including ZocDoc, DramaFever, Shareaholic, Chromatik WeddingWire, Shift, ClassPass, and Aloha.
