Stephen Jones

Steve currently serves as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Allied Nevada Gold Corp. Prior to that, he was President, CFO and Director of EPM Mining Ventures Inc. for which he raised the initial project funding. Steve was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Katanga Mining during 2006 to 2008 where he successfully raised approximately $300 million through various debt and equity financing instruments enabling the restart of underground and open-pit mines in the DRC. Other previous roles include Member of Riverway Petroleum Partners and Managing Director of El Paso Corporation in the oil and gas sector, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold. Steve holds his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a CPA.
