Steve Smoot

Steve is a General Partner at Lavrock Ventures, a Washington DC-based venture capital fund focused on Series A investments in enterprise software and cybersecurity companies. He was previously in investment roles at Blu Ventures, BB&T Capital Partners (now Five Points Capital), and GE Equity. He was also Co-Founder and CEO of Authentag, a supply chain integrity, and analytics SaaS company, and early in his career, held various operating roles at GE Healthcare and GE Capital. Steve previously worked at NextGen Venture Partners and Founding Member. He attended the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business and Brigham Young University.
