In 1977 he joined MSD Pharmaceuticals as CFO of its subsidiary in Colombia, and then Italy. He became managing director of MSD’s subsidiaries in Greece and Turkey in 1981, and later Spain in 1984. In 1985, he moved to Bristol-Myers as managing director of Spain, where he’s been based for most of his professional career.

He is an icon of the Spanish restaurant industry having developed over 30+ years such concepts as Foster`s Hollywood and La Tagliatella, being a shareholder and senior executive in Grupo Zena, founder of Restauravia and MegaFood, board member of Telepizza and AmRest and with four successful exits with Restauravia (La Tagliatella and KFC) named “Best Iberian Operation of 2011” by the private equity association.
