Bio

Steven Buckley is a Founding Partner of Innova Capital, which was established in 1994. Prior to 1990, he worked with the consulting firms Bain & Company, Booz-Allen & Hamilton, and Arthur Andersen. He first advised the Polish Government on early privatization programs, and then co-founded Company Assistance Ltd (CAL), one of Poland’s leading market research firms, before establishing Innova.

He has co-led investments in Euronet, PolCard, Voxtel and has also held Board positions at Donako, Provus, MobilRom, among others.

He has lectured at the University of Colorado and at the Krems Business School in Austria. He has published articles in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal Europe, and The Denver Post. Mr. Buckley holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA (with Honors) from Stanford University. He was a founding member of the Warsaw Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Freeman-Spogli Institute of International Studies at Stanford University.
