Steven Ludmerer

Steve Ludmerer has a distinguished career building, growing, and improving the performance of chemical, advanced material, clean energy, medical device and consumer products businesses.

Currently, Steve and his colleagues at Ludmerer & Associates support and guide early stage companies, university spinouts, corporate venture teams, venture capitalists and corporate customers. Previously, Steve spent twenty-five years in a variety of management roles at DuPont Company and Union Carbide/Dow. He spent three years resident in Asia building DuPont’s Asia Pacific operations and subsequently led three materials technology businesses (diagnostics, instruments, electronics).

Steve has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Drexel University. In addition to being a member of DCIG, Steve is also an active member of the Licensing Executives Society, the Product Development and Management Association, the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group and serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
