Mr. Tarun Mehta co-founded Ather Energy Pvt. Ltd. in 2013 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mehta was actively involved with the entrepreneurship eco-system in IIT Madras (C-TIDES) and always wanted to start-up. A strong believer in the superiority of the electric drive, he started working on EV battery packs to solve one of the biggest pain points with EVs in India. Mr. Mehta is a graduate of the Department of Engineering Design, IIT Madras (batch of 2012).
