Tathagato Rai Dastidar, better known as “Tatha”, is a tech industry old timer of 15+ years. He co-founded SigTuple in 2015, driven by his passion to apply advanced artificial intelligence techniques towards healthcare. A B.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, he has held technical leadership positions in various organisations including Yahoo!, American Express and Gracenote primarily in the fields of search, big data, machine learning and image processing.
He also had a brief stint as an entrepreneur, having co-founded a startup (AgO Synthesis) in the EDA/VLSI domain in 2007.
