Thomas Gravina

Thomas J. Gravina Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder From 1987 – 2006, Mr. Gravina was President, CEO and Co-founder of ATX Communications. During his tenure Mr. Gravina grew ATX into one of the largest telecommunications companies in the United States with more than 300,000 clients and revenues in excess of $350 million. Additionally in 2000, Mr. Gravina led the multi-billion dollar merger between publicly-traded CoreComm Limited, Voyager.net and privately-held ATX Communications. Mr. Gravina ran the combined entities as a publicly traded Nasdaq company until early 2005 when he retired as President and CEO but remained Chairman of the Board until late 2006.

In 2006, Mr. Gravina Co-Founded and remains the Executive Chairman of GPX Enterprises, L.P. and its affiliates including GPX Realty Partners. GPX and its affiliates maintain investments in various industries including real estate, software, cloud services, manufacturing and financial services.

In 2007, Mr. Gravina Co-Founded and became Chairman and CEO of Evolve IP where he oversees all fundraising, strategy, and acquisition activities. Today, Evolve IP has achieved an 72.5% compounded annual growth rate since inception, has been named to the Inc. 500 and is one of the fastest-growing, privately-held cloud services companies in the nation. The company’s services are deployed on 4 continents in 15 countries and by more than 1,300 commercial business accounts with a combined 100,000+ users, licensed seats and managed end points.

Mr. Gravina is a member of the board of directors of FS Investment Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed BDC. Mr. Gravina also serves on the board of trustees of FS Energy and Power Fund, where he is the Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund, FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund—A and FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund—D. Mr. Gravina is a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Valuation Committee of FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund. He is Vice Chairman of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (PCOM) board of trustees, chairs their foundation committee, sits on the finance, executive and audit committees. In 2014 he was inducted into the Philadelphia Hall of Fame for Junior Achievement and in the late 1990’s was named a member of the Philadelphia Business Journal/Wharton Business School Hall of Fame. Additionally he has been selected as a member of the Philadelphia Business Journals 30 under 30 and 40 under 40 lists.

Mr. Gravina supports many worthwhile non profit causes with his service on the board of People for People and supports the United Way, Junior Achievement, and the American Cancer Society amongst others. Since 2007, Mr. Gravina, and members of his organization, have volunteered more than 4,000 hours of their personal time and raised and donated $4.1 million for more than 45 regional charities.

Mr. Gravina received a bachelor of science in business administration from Villanova University and is an active alumnus sitting on the President’s Leadership Committee. Mr. Gravina currently resides in Haverford Pa, with his wife and their three children.
