Thomas M. Prescott

Thomas Prescott is currently a Director of Align Technology, Inc. Mr. Prescott was President, CEO & Director of Align Technology, Inc, the company that created Invisalign and built a leadership position in orthodontics and digital dentistry, from March 28, 2002 until his retirement on June 1, 2015. From May 1999 until Aug 2001 (when Boston Scientific completed its acquisition), Mr. Prescott was President, CEO & Director of Cardiac Pathways Corp, an interventional cardiology company that developed innovative therapies for life threatening cardiac arrhythmias. From 1996 until 1999, Mr. Prescott served as Vice President & General Manager of a $200 million respiratory business unit of Nellcor Puritan Bennett (departing after Mallinckrodt completed its acquisition of Nellcor Puritan Bennett), and in other senior leadership roles for Nellcor since 1994. Prior to Nellcor, Mr. Prescott served in various management roles at GE Medical Systems as well as Siemens. Mr. Prescott holds a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and a Masters in Management (MM) from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Prescott also serves as a director for The Navy SEAL Foundation, and as a director & Chairman for Benvenue, an early stage medical device company pioneering innovative spine therapies.
