Timothy M. Adams

Mr. Timothy M. Adams, also known as Tim, has been Chief Private Brand Officer of Macy's, Inc. since February 2009. Mr. Adams served as Chairman and Chief Executive of Home Store Division at Macy's Inc. from July 2005 to February 2009. He served as the President of the Macy's Northwest (formerly known as Bon Marche) division, based in Seattle, WA, from 1998 to 2001. He began his retail career at Macy's in Atlanta in 1976. In 1989, he joined the San Francisco-based Macy's West division as a Merchandise Administrator and served as Group Vice President since 1991 and Senior Vice President since 1992. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Macy's West since 1994. He served as the Chairman of Macy's Florida Division of Federated Department Stores Inc. since April 2001. He serves as a Director of Macy's Home Store. Mr. Adams holds a Degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
