Pham is Founder and CEO of Topica, the leading online education provider in South East Asia with 1,500 employees in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Topica is building an online education ecosystem around its Topica Native English speech tutoring, Topica Uni online degree enabling programs and Edumall short courses platform. It operates Topica Founder Institute, an accelerator whose startups received 30% of all early-stage investment rounds in Vietnam, and runs the first AI & Edtech Lab in South East Asia. Pham served as Vice Dean and Dean at Hanoi University of Technology and Hanoi Open University, and Senior Visiting Scholar at University of California San Diego. Previously, he worked at McKinsey&Company (Budapest), Extramedia Ventures (Boston, Singapore) and Integra Software (Budapest). Pham was honored among 200 Young Global Leaders by World Economic Forum in 2012, and serves as a Judge of Global Teacher Prize, and a Member of Vietnam Prime Minister’s Education and HR Development Council.
