I began my career in classical marketing at Unilever and then moved into music media at Capital Radio and NME/NME.com. I then focussed on growing 2 start-ups which have become big names at Shazam and lastminute.com. More recently my roles have been international with companies going through significant change: RIM/BlackBerry, BP/Castrol and Philips.

As Chief Digital Officer at SCA, I have been driving the digital transformation agenda for the past 12 months. We have enabled digital functions in both the content and sales teams. I have built a product function focused on digital audio (ie., streaming and podcasting), video, social media all on mobile. I have also started a new data function. We have achieved record digital audience, launched new products and found value through a start up partnership.

My passion is in the digitization of marketing and business. Technology and software are the new armoury of the 21st century marketer. I also see immense value in the exchange between start-up and corporate.
