He serves as a Director of Graphic Controls Corporation, Boise Cascade Corporation and Kelley Oil & Gas Corporation. He serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wildlife Conservation Society, Chair of the Advisory Council of The Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, and serves as a trustee of the David & Lucille Packard Foundation. Woods served as a Director of Essex International Inc. since 1992. Woods served as Director of Contour Energy Co., 9now known as Samson Contour Energy Co.) since February 1996 until his resignation on June 12, 2002. He served as a Director of Officemax Incorporated from 1992 to December 31, 2005. He was Director of National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. He is also a former Trustee of Stanford University and former Chairman of Stanford Management Company. Woods graduated from Stanford University.
