Wayne Burns

Wayne Burns brings over 20 years of finance and operating experience to Nanostring Technologies. Most recently he served as COO and CFO at Action Engine Corporation.

Previously Wayne was a founder and CEO of SafariDog, Inc. Wayne has served as CFO for four venture backed software companies all of which were successfully grown and then acquired by public companies .

Wayne has also served as CFO of Renaissance GRX, Inc., a public graphics card manufacturer. Prior to that Wayne spent 5 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the U.S. and Italy.

Mr. Burns is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Washington.
