XuemingQian has over eighteen years of industrial antibody discovery and development experience. Before starting MABSPACE, XuemingQian was Senior VP and Head of R&D of Shenogen Pharma Group from 2010 and 2012; a Beijing-based biopharma company developing ER-a36 based anti-cancer therapies. From 1997 and 2010 XuemingQian worked at Amgen as principal scientist and led multiple project teams to discover novel antibody therapeutics for the autoimmune diseases and metabolic disorders (bone and kidney). He is the leading inventor of multiple antibody patents.XuemingQian graduated from Fudan University and completed his graduate studies at Columbia University and Albany Medical Center. He is a member of Antibody Society, International Society of Nephrology and BayHelix，a member of National Thousand Talents program.
