Yi Pin Ng

Yi Pin joined GGV Capital in April 2004. Prior to GGV, Yi Pin served most recently at the venture group at Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). As a venture capitalist, Yi Pin leads investments in Xfire (acquired by Viacom), Placeware (acquired by Microsoft), Arbortext (acquired by Parametric Technology Corp, PTC), G-Log (acquired by Oracle), Ageia, Lumension Security, Teranetics, Inside Contactless and Wayport.

Before joining GIC SI in 2000, Yi Pin held operations planning and operational management positions at Sun Microsystems covering the Asia Pacific region. He is also a commissioned officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy.

Yi Pin holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering & Math from University of San Francisco, an M.S. in Operations Research from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Nanyang Business School, Singapore. Yi Pin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
